Skopje, 27 August 2025 (MIA) -- Elementary school students will get all their textbooks on Sept. 1, including foreign language textbooks, the Ministry of Education and Science said Wednesday in a press release.

"For the second year in a row, the printing and delivery of textbooks has been timely, and each school will receive as many copies as requested," the release said.

Seventh-grade students will receive entirely new textbooks, in line with a new curriculum that foresees History and Geography as well as Chemistry and Physics as separate subjects.

First year high schoolers, too, will get new textbooks, developed in accordance with a new syllabus. Over a 100 new textbooks will be available to vocational high school students, as well, the release said. mr/
