Athens, 14 September 2020 (MIA) – European prospects, bilateral relations and topics arising from the Prespa Agreement will be in the focus of the meeting between Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens on Wednesday, Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas told a press briefing on Monday, MIA reports from the Greek capital.
Petsas said the meeting was important after the elections in North Macedonia, adding more details would be available after the working lunch.
On the lack of progress of commissions on instruction books and trademarks, Petsas said the region’s European perspective is the most important thing, while “many issues can be resolved through the process of opening and closing accession chapters”.
PM Zaev is set to pay a visit to Greece on September 15-16, taking part at an Economist-hosted roundtable. Besides colleague Mitsotakis, Zaev is set to also meet with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
