Zaev in Karposh: Right path means EU and NATO, protection against COVID-19, economic growth

Today, the right path means EU and NATO, it means care for all, protection against COVID-19, economic growth and more money for everyone, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev told a rally in Skopje's Karposh on Friday.

Skopje, 10 July 2020 (MIA) – Today, the right path means EU and NATO, it means care for all, protection against COVID-19, economic growth and more money for everyone, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev told a rally in Skopje’s Karposh on Friday.

“It’s a beautiful free Skopje that knows we’re on the right path and the right path is care for all, as we have shown in the past three years,” Zaev said.
“Our capital Skopje,” he continued, “knows it’s on the right path because we have a real developing economy, because we have shown that we can take care of the economy when solving the biggest issues.”
Skopje knows, Zaev said, that the EU and NATO are the right path.
“It knows we’re on the right path because it can see that we’re most successful in the fight against COVID-19,” he added. “Skopje knows that we can, much more and much better.”
Zaev said that after SDSM’s victory, i.e. VMRO-DPMNE’s defeat, Mickoski would no longer be a leader and it would be the end of his political career.
“Our country is stable and strong, but Mickoski is forgetting this. Its territorial sovereignty and integrity are guaranteed. All he did during this period is obstruction, threats, blackmail and manipulation. They have nothing to offer, they don’t know what to offer,” Zaev pointed out.

Health Minister Venko Filipche also addressed the ‘We Can’ coalition rally in Karposh. He praised organizers of the rally for following health protocols, adding that it was the only way to protect public health.

Filipche dedicated the applause given to him in Karposh to the healthcare workers who have been fighting against the coronavirus for four months now.

“We have seen different scenarios in the world, in Europe, and in the region as well. Latest information is that Kosovo’s health system is unfortunately facing collapse. But we have avoided such scenarios here, overcrowded hospitals, patients in hospital halls, we responded in time and with precision,” Filipche said.

MP candidate Nikola Dimitrov urged citizens to go to the polls in great numbers on July 15.

He pointed out that the main focus in the next period will be on justice.

MP candidate Mila Carovska said VMRO-DPMNE had nothing to offer to citizens, and the ‘We Can’ coalition is the only right choice.
MP candidate Oliver Spasovski also addressed the rally, calling on citizens to vote for justice on July 15.
