Skopje, 10 July 2020 (MIA) – July 15 is coming, the day when we decide whether we go out and choose security or stay home and give a chance to danger and insecurity. Don’t be silent when it’s your turn to speak. Go out and vote, says SDSM leader Zoran Zaev.
“In 2,5 years we have transformed from an isolated country into a NATO member and a state opening EU accession negotiations. We have taken the road that no one before had the courage to take, so that the entire world knows us as Macedonians speaking the Macedonian language. We have the fastest growth of the minimum and average salary on record. We have a social state and accountable authorities. We are building our country!,” says Zaev in a video statement.
He knows that some of the people’s expectations have not been met, mistakes were made, but each mistake was highlighted loudly, in a democratic way, while the authorities listened the acted upon.
“We showed that we know and can improve. This gives me the right to say that we are not and we’ll never be same. I pledge before you that the judiciary will be the first thing to be reformed in the next term. I stand with all of my integrity behind this,” says Zaev.
He asks for support to win another term so that the country makes continued progress.
“I am asking for your support. I am asking for your vote for another term. So that we move forward even faster, not missing the opportunity that we created together for our beautiful country and our people. The choice is obvious. But don’t even think that the job is already done. We will move forward only if you decide to come out and vote on July 15, in your completely safe polling stations. Don’t be silent when it’s your turn to speak. Go out and vote!,” says Zaev.
