Skopje, 12 July 2020 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski on Sunday in an open letter ahead of the July 15 elections urges the citizens to vote because ‘your votes can change things.’
“By abstaining, you give the right to those who’ve disappointed you to keep doing what they were doing. Your vote gives us – the new generation of politicians – the chance to change things. We need a government who will serve you,” he says adding that no government is ideal.
Mickoski vows that his party would work hard if it won next week’s elections.
He underscores that the country has to undergo a renewal in many spheres, including the economy, politics, and a renewal of the society.
The opposition leader pledges he will fight for justice and for everyone to be equal before the law.
“States are built through temptation and big decisions. My dream is Macedonia – a land of happy people, of proud history and legacy and of a future we are going to build ourselves,” Mickoski says in the letter to the public among other things.
