Moscow, 4 May 2021 (dpa/MIA) – Two people have died in a fire at a hotel in the Russian capital Moscow.
Fourteen people, including eight children, were injured in the fire in the early hours of Tuesday, authorities said.
Three hundred people were in the building in south-east Moscow when the fire broke out. It is not known how the blaze started.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the fire protection systems were out of order. An investigation had been launched.
Pictures taken by the prosecutor’s office showed completely charred corridors in the hotel.
