Istanbul, 10 January 2020 (dpa/MIA) – A Russian-flagged tanker collided with a Turkish fishing boat in the Black Sea on Friday, with three people still missing, the Istanbul governor’s office said.
The accident off Kilyos, on the Black Sea coast near Istanbul, took place at 6:35 am (0335 GMT). The Russian vessel, Glard 2, sank the Turkish vessel, Dursun Ali Coskun.
The governor said three Turks were rescued and the search was ongoing for the missing.
The Turkish Coastguard said that four boats and one helicopter were dispatched to the site.
