Skopje, 29 April 2025 (MIA) – Health Minister Arben Taravari revealed on Tuesday that Turkey has offered free long-term rehabilitation, over a year, for up to 15 patients injured in Kochani nightclub fire.

Taravari said he and PM Hristijan Mickoski held a long meeting with Turkey’s health minister, during which the Kochani tragedy was among the topics discussed.

“I expressed my gratitude for the care provided to our patients. They have expressed willingness to treat an additional 10 to 15 patients requiring long-term rehabilitation, lasting over a year, completely free of charge. Right now, we can send four to six patients if needed, and maximum up to fifteen over time. That’s very good news,” Taravari told reporters.

While in Turkey, Taravari said that he visited two patients who were responsive, with their parents expressing satisfaction with the care and requesting that rehabilitation continue there.

Sixty-two people died in the March 16 fire at the 'Pulse' nightclub in Kochani, while around 200 were injured and taken to hospitals in the country and abroad.
