Ohrid, 30 August 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Friday in Ohrid with Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski, discussing the institutions' response to the wildfires over the summer.

Siljanovska Davkova and Toshkovski agreed that the police-army coordination, especially in the fire extinguishing operations in the country's southeast, was at an exceptionally high level, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

In this regard, interlocutors spoke about the planned reforms in creating a modern and efficient crisis management system for all types of emergencies.
