Skopje, 25 June 2020 (MIA) – The Project “Renewal” is a four-year project, but it also leaves room to be upgraded. Rule of law is key for the economy, social protection, and education, said VMRO-DPMNE MP candidate Gordana Siljanovska Davkova on Thursday.
“The program of the VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition includes not only the objectives, but also the instruments and the time needed to implement the project titled ‘Renewal’, the first candidate on VMRO-DPMNE’s list in the 1st electoral district said at the opening of her campaign HQ in Skopje.
According to her, renewal has never been more urgent. “We need to renew our respect towards ourselves, respect towards the nation, respect towards the Constitution and laws, towards rule of law and international law.”
Siljanovska Davkova pledged that VMRO-DPMNE would make social benefits more available and would make efforts to prevent the emigration of qualified young people.
“I advocate for a small and competitive government without ministerial posts created for party soldiers. One of our first proposals would be to set up a legal commission to detect the biggest shortcomings of the Constitution. There must be a solution and we have to find a way in the system to make the country a decent place for living,” she told reporters.
