
Skopje, 15 July 2020 (MIA) – Voter turnout in Wednesday’s early parliamentary elections is 23.81% until 1 pm according to the processed data in 3,368 polling stations, State Election Commission (SEC) said, adding that 432,026 citizens voted until 1 pm.
SEC spokesperson Admir Shabani told a press conference on Wednesday that voter turnout in the first electoral district is 27.09%, in the second – 21.64%, third – 28.92%, fourth – 27.45%, fifth – 23.11% and sixth – 15.58%.
Thus far, no voting irregularities have been reported in Wednesday’s early parliamentary elections, Shabani said.
For comparison, voter turnout in the parliamentary elections in 2016 was 34.37% until 1 pm, while in the presidential elections in 2019 the voter turnout was 20.52% until 1 pm.
