Skopje, 7 September 2020 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Monday with Russian Ambassador Sergei Bazdnikin, exchanging opinions on bilateral relations in fields of mutual interest.
President Pendarovski and Ambassador Bazdnikin discussed the COVID-19 situation in the two countries, as well as its management from a health, economic and social standpoint, the President’s Office said in a press release.
In light of Independence Day-September 8, Bazdnikin presented Pendarovski with a congratulating note from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Let me extend my congratulations on your country’s Independence Day. I am convinced that enhancement of the constructive bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of North Macedonia will benefit the interests of our people, contribute to the strengthening of the Balkans’ security and stability,” President Putin says in the note.
