Skopje, 11 July 2020 (MIA) – The campaign of the political parties ahead of the July 15 early parliamentary elections ends Sunday at midnight before election silence officially starts. The political parties have two more days to present their election programs to voters.

During the election campaign, they have been vowing for fair justice, economic development and better living standards for all.

The “We Can” coalition’s caravan on Saturday will visit the municipalities of Kavadarci and Jegunovce.

The VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition will organize activities in the municipalities of Rankovce, Kratovo and Kriva Palanka.

Addressing a rally in Skopje’s Karposh on Friday night, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev said that the right path means EU and NATO. “It means care for all, protection against COVID-19, economic growth and more money for everyone.”

“It’s a beautiful free Skopje that knows we’re on the right path and the right path is care for all, as we have shown in the past three years. Our capital Skopje knows it’s on the right path because we have a real developing economy, because we have shown that we can take care of the economy when solving the biggest issues,” he told supporters.

VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Delchevo on Friday night that the people will decide on July 15 the future of Macedonia ‘they want to live in, whether it will be a humiliated country or a proud country.’

Urging the citizens to vote for the “Renewal of Macedonia” coalition, Mickoski said that for two and a half years VMRO-DPMNE has worked hard to get to the coming early parliamentary elections. “We decided to work hard and thanks to the support you gave us, we got to the point where we can overthrow an anti-national government led by Zoran Zaev,” Mickoski said.

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti at a rally in Tetovo said his party had helped the country get on the right track and was now opening new chapters.

At a rally in Gostivar, the coalition of the Alliance for Albanians and Alternativa said they would champion a one society for all and equal rights and opportunities for all.
