Skopje, 21 July 2020 (MIA) – Of 1,636 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 163 new COVID-19 cases were registered in North Macedonia, including 52 in the capital Skopje.
There were no new fatalities reported in the same 24-hour period, the Health Ministry said Tuesday.
New cases were also registered in Kumanovo (21), Debar (2), Shtip (33), Tetovo (4), Struga (7), Veles (2), Bitola (5), Ohrid (1), Kavadarci (4), Gostivar (17), Strumica (2), Kochani (2), Probishtip (2), Demir Hisar (3), Makedonski Brod (1), Sveti Nikole (3), Kichevo (1), and Resen (1).
The Institute of Public Health registered 69 recovered patients in Skopje, Debar, Shtip, Prilep, Tetovo, Veles, Kavadarci, Gostivar and Probishtip.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 9,412 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 4,940 people have recovered.
Death toll has reached 432.
At the moment, there are 4,040 active cases in the country. Most of them are reported in Skopje – 1,892.
So far, a total of 88,179 tests have been conducted in the country.
