Skopje – Drinking and smoking rates in teenagers aged 15-16 is dropping, but the risk of cannabis use and new types of addiction is a cause for concern. 27% of Macedonian students have gambled for money in the last year, whereas 19% spend more than six hours a day on social media during school days, and 11% spend more than 6 hours a day playing videogames during the weekend, shows a report of the European Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD).
