Skopje – With only two days left until the deadline to hand over the mandate for government formation, there’s no official agreement between parties that won the most MP seats.
Skopje – Talat Xhaferi, who is now the chairman of Parliament after serving as its speaker, has warned that President Stevo Pendarovski could violate the Constitution if he handed over a mandate for a government to be formed even though a Parliament Speaker hasn’t been elected yet.
Skopje – President Stevo Pendarovski by Friday, the last day of the 10-day deadline, will hand over a mandate for the formation of a new government to the party leader who has secured a majority.

Skopje – Police in North Macedonia found a total of 148 migrants hidden in two trucks on Tuesday. Police patrol stopped Audi car with Skopje license plates and Mercedes-Benz truck with Bitola license plates near the town of Demir Kapija. The truck driver who fled the scene, was found shortly afterwards, police said on Wednesday.
