Berlin, 6 November 2020 (dpa/MIA) – Yusuf Yazici scored his second Europa League hat-trick of the season as Lille won 3-0 away at Serie A leaders AC Milan, and two own-goals helped Arsenal come from behind to beat Molde 4-1.
Yazici, who netted three times against Slavia Prague two weeks ago, first dispatched a penalty before bagging twice from open play in the second half. In the process of inflicting Milan‘s first loss of the campaign in all competitions, Lille leapfrogged the Italian side to move top of Group H.
Arsenal went behind to a Martin Ellingsen goal after 22 minutes, but Kristoffer Haugen put into his own net in injury-time at the end of the first-half. Sheriff Sinyan then did the same after the interval, and goals from Nicolas Pepe and Joe Willock secured the win. With nine points from three games, Mikel Arteta’s side top Group B.
In other results, Leicester City won 4-0 against Braga, a Lukas Julis hat-trick helped Sparta Prague beat Celtic 4-1 and Hoffenheim hammered coronavirus-weakened Slovan Liberec 5-0.
