Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) – The local elections in the country unfolded in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere, with high turnout and without significant irregularities, a Vlen spokesperson said after the closure of polls on Sunday.

The party said the citizens sent a clear message of trust in their policies, with expectations being that the results of the vote will confirm that support.

The spokesperson of Vlen’s election HQ, Driton Sulejmani, expressed satisfaction with the electoral process, stressing that voting was peaceful and orderly in all municipalities.

“The voting process for the local elections was conducted peacefully and orderly across all municipalities in the country. According to reports from the ground, the process was carried out without major irregularities, while the majority of citizens exercised their right to vote in the best possible manner,” Sulejmani said.

The party thanked all citizens who participated in the vote, assessing the day as proof of democratic maturity and civic awareness.

Regarding the turnout in the municipalities of Chair and Saraj, Sulejmani said the citizens showed a readiness to back Vlen’s work as part of the Government.

“Turnout in Chair and Saraj is high. I think the figures were somewhere near 60 percent. This shows that the citizens in these two municipalities are ready to provide their trust in Vlen’s policies, which we demonstrated during our 15 months of work in the Government,” Sulejmani said.

Sulejmani said the party expects a fair and transparent vote count by the State Election Commission, with full respect for the will of the citizens.
