Washington, 24 June 2025 (dpa/MIA) - US President Donald Trump has urged Israel not to continue attacking Iran, posting on Truth Social: "DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS ... BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!"

He said on Tuesday that any more attacks after the agreed ceasefire would be a major violation.

Trump had announced the ceasefire overnight, and both Iran and Israel later confirmed it, but there were mutual accusations of ceasefire violations on Tuesday.

Israel has broken the ceasefire three times and attacked various locations in the country, the Iranian armed forces were cited by the Fars news agency as saying.

Earlier statements from the Israeli military said that Tehran had fired at least one missile at northern Israel, with Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz vowing strong counter-attacks.
