Trajkov: Committed to implementing obligations under EU Stabilisation and Association Agreement

Skopje, 10 February 2026 (MIA) - At Tuesday’s meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Committee (SAC) with the European Union, discussions focused on the rule of law, judicial reforms, the fight against corruption, public administration reform, and the Reform Agenda.
During the meeting, special focus was placed on the political criteria and the Reform Agenda.
“As co-chair of the Stabilisation and Association Committee, I would like to express my satisfaction that, after a five-year pause, we are resuming the meetings of this body, reaffirming Macedonia’s commitment to continuing reforms related to European integration and further strengthening cooperation with the European Union. We emphasized the importance of continuous political dialogue, implementation of the Reform Agenda, and accelerating the alignment process with European Union law," Viktorija Trajkov, Deputy Minister of European Affairs and co-chair of the Stabilisation and Association Committee between the European Union and Macedonia.
According to the Trajkov’s Office, the meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Committee with the EU concluded by reaffirming the continuation of the regular work of the subcommittees within the SAC and to prepare for the next meeting.
