In search of the topos of eastern European avant-garde, Tome Adzievski reminds himself of Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker. “In the film’s “forbidden zone’, he recognizes multiple similarities with the ‘mental zone’ today in Macedonia,” says the Culture and Art Directorate announcing the exhibit.
The “Bridges of Music” Sofia – Skopje” concert to be performed at the Macedonian Philharmonic by the Pancho Vladigerov Academic Orchestra of the National Academy of Music in Sofia and by young conductors and musical artists from Macedonia and Bulgaria.
“One stage, two cities, one common language – music. It’s a concert that celebrates musical friendship and creative cooperation between young artists from the region,” organizers say.
