Skopje hosts 10th Annual Regional Security Coordination Conference
- The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Ministry of Interior, and in partnership with the Government of North Macedonia, is organising the 10th Annual Regional Security Coordination Conference (“Jumbo”), taking place on 11-12 November, in Skopje.
Skopje, 11 November 2025 (MIA) – The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Ministry of Interior, and in partnership with the Government of North Macedonia, is organising the 10th Annual Regional Security Coordination Conference (“Jumbo”), taking place on 11-12 November, in Skopje.
Marking its 10th anniversary, this year’s security conference will gather ministers, senior government officials, international partners, and security experts from across the Western Balkans and Europe to discuss shared security challenges, regional cooperation, and rebuilding trust and resilience.
The opening session will feature welcoming remarks by Amer Kapetanović, RCC Secretary General, Arben Fetai, Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia in charge of Good Governance Policies, Stefano Gambacurta, Deputy Director General of Public Security at the Ministry of Interior of Italy and Paolo Palminteri, Ambassador of Italy to North Macedonia.
The two-day event will feature high-level discussions on the Western Balkans’ contribution to a safer Europe, restoring trust in institutions and resilience, and strengthening regional cooperation in addressing organised crime, corruption, migration, gender-based violence along transit routes, as well as cyber and hybrid threats, the RCC said in a press release.
