Skopje, 1 October 2025 (MIA) - The 2025/2026 heating season for consumers connected to the central heating grid in Skopje managed by ESM will begin on Thursday, October 2.

“The heating season is officially scheduled to begin on Oct. 15, but according to the regulations it may start earlier if the forecasted average outdoor temperature for the following day is equal to or below 12˚C. According to data from the Hydrometeorological Service, the forecasted average temperature for October 2 is 10˚C, which meets the conditions for the production, delivery, and supply of heating, in accordance with a decision of the Energy Regulatory Commission of North Macedonia,” ESM said on Wednesday.

ESM said it would publish daily notices on the ESM Distribution website on whether the conditions have been met for the delivery of heating on the following day until October 15.
