Skopje, 31 October 2025 (MIA) – An event marking the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Security Council resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security will be held Friday in Skopje.

The event will see addresses by President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas, and Vesna Ivanovikj-Castarede, UN Women Head of Office in Skopje.

Two panels focused on national experiences, women’s leadership in security institutions and peace missions will take place as part of the forum, said the Ministry of Defense.
