Skopje, 29 June 2025 (MIA) -- President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova will address the first plenary session of the United Nations' 4th International Conference on Financing for Development held from June 30 to July 3 in Seville, Spain, with the aim of reforming the world's financial architecture.

According to an official press release, Siljanovska Davkova will attend Sunday evening a reception given by Spanish King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia.

According to conference organizers, the conference will address the urgent need to fully implement the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and boost development assistance funding.

In addition to representatives of the business community, the civil sector and international organizations, some fifty leaders are attending the conference. They are expected to adopt the "Seville Commitment," a political pledge and a development financing blueprint for the next ten years.

As part of her visit to Spain, Siljanovska Davkova is scheduled to meet with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. mr/
