Skopje, 5 November 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova attended late Tuesday a reception hosted by Hungarian Ambassador András Klein on occasion of the country's National Day.

"Long-standing Macedonian-Hungarian friendship is founded on strong economic ties, cultural and academic programmes, joint initiatives and cooperation in the defense sector. Hungary is a sincere and committed supporter of the Macedonian Euro-integration path, recognizing our efforts for stability and reforms, based on the European values," President Siljanovska Davkova wrote in a Facebook post.

The President expresses belief that the partnership will continue to develop in the spirit of mutual respect and solidarity.

Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski, Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska, Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska, representatives from the Parliament, local authorities, business community and the diplomatic corps also attended the reception.
