Share of May electricity production in consumption at 96.5 percent
Skopje, 25 July 2026 (MIA) - Total gross electricity produced in May was 462.653 MWh, which represents 96.5 percent of the gross national electricity consumption, says the State Statistical Office.
In May, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 479.603 МWh of electricity, 4.463 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 264.997 tonnes of coal and 78.468 tonnes of petroleum products.
In May, 99.9 percent of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
