SEC: VMRO-DPMNE's Gjorgjievski leads in Skopje mayoral race after 93 percent of votes counted

Skopje, 2 November 2025 (MIA) - State Election Commission (SEC) data show that VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski has received 88,511 votes (57.84%) while Levica's Amar Mecinovikj got 55,254 (36.11%) with 93.04 percent of votes counted in Sunday's runoff.

Turnout for the Skopje mayoral race stands at 34.67 percent, down from the 49 percent in the first round a fortnight ago.
