SEC: VMRO-DPMNE leading in Skopje and six of capital's municipalities, SDSM, Vlen, NAI and Union of Roma in one each
Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - According to the State Election Commission (SEC) preliminary results, VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayor candidate Orce Gjorgjievski is leading with 41.24% of votes, followed by Bashkim Bakiu (Vlen) with 13.12%, Amar Mecinovikj (Levica) - 12.09%, Skender Rexhepi (NAI) - 11.84%, and Kaja Shukova (SDSM) - 10.78%.
The VMRO-DPMNE mayor candidates in the Skopje municipalities of Aerodrom, Butel, Gazi Baba, Gjorche Petrov, Karposh and Kisela Voda are also in the lead.
SDSM is leading in Centar, Vlen in Chair, NAI in Saraj, while Union of Roma in Shuto Orizari.
