SEC: 5.385 sick and infirm, 810 inmates cast their ballot by 3:30 pm
Skopje, 18 October 2025 (MIA) - Voting by the sick and infirm, those serving prison sentences or under house arrest, and people in non-family facilities is proceeding smoothly and without any problems or irregularities, the State Election Commission (SEC) said on Saturday afternoon.
The SEC said 5.385 of the total registered 8.848 sick or infirm people cast their ballot by 3:30 PM.
Out of 2.162 registered voters who are serving prison sentences or are under house arrest, 810 voted by 3:30 PM.
In non-family facilities, out of 442 people registered to vote, 135 cast their ballot by 3:30 PM.
