Skopje, 10 February 2026 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs and First Deputy Prime Minister, Bekim Sali, participated in the meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Committee (SAC), chaired by the Deputy Minister of European Affairs, Viktorija Trajkov, at which an assessment of progress in the EU integration process was made and priorities for the forthcoming period were determined.
According to the Ministry of European Affairs, the meeting reaffirmed the government’s commitment to steady progress towards EU integration, focusing on achieving concrete reform results, particularly in rule of law, public administration and the functioning of democratic institutions.

In this regard, it was highlighted that the gradual integration into the EU Single Market is already yielding measurable benefits for both citizens and businesses. Initiatives including SEPA, WiFi4WB, and forthcoming projects in roaming and industrial harmonization help reduce costs, enhance connectivity, and create new opportunities for companies and youth.
These steps underline that European integration is not just a long-term political aim, but a process bringing real benefits to citizens’ daily lives.
“North Macedonia remains committed to reforms, building stronger institutions, and steady progress toward full EU membership,” the Ministry of European Affairs said.
