Brussels, 16 December 2025 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is paying a working visit to Brussels starting Tuesday, where he will take part in the EU–Western Balkans Summit on Wednesday.
As announced, Prime Minister Mickoski and members of the government delegation are scheduled to attend Tuesday evening the event, hosted by the ambassadors of the Western Balkan countries in Brussels under the auspices of EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos.
As stated in the announcement, the event is described as ‘unique occasion never before seen in Brussels,’ celebrating the cultural richness, diversity and European future of the Western Balkans, with a special focus on one of the region’s ‘most symbolic traditions – the art of winemaking.’
“The uniting of Europe can be based only on our shared values, fostered by individuals inspired by a common culture and history. This symbolic gathering seeks to honour these ties in an environment that nurtures dialogue, friendship and mutual understanding,” the event announcement notes.
It adds that participants at the event will have the opportunity to discover signature wines from each of the Western Balkan countries, meet their producers, and experience the region’s diversity in a warm and informal atmosphere.
