Orbán praises Mickoski for protecting Europe’s border from migration

Skopje, 29 May 2025 (MIA) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, at the opening of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Budapest, praised Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and his leadership in protecting the European border from illegal migrants.

“Our Macedonian hero Hristijan Mickoski won the election despite full support from Brussels for his opponent. He is the defender of the stronghold that protects Europe’s southern border from migration. Long live Macedonia!” said Prime Minister Orbán during the opening of the major conservative conference in Budapest.

An exclusive video message from US President Donald Trump was aired before Orbán’s speech. Other notable guests included Slovak PM Robert Fico, Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze, Czech politician Andrej Babiš, Poland’s Jerzy Kwaśniewski and Mateusz Morawiecki, Austria’s Herbert Kickl, Germany’s Alice Weidel, Spain’s Jorge Buxadé, and American conservative commentators Ben Shapiro, Jack Posobiec, and David Rubin.

PM Mickoski is expected to deliver an address at the conference on Friday.

CPAC is considered the largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world.
