Skopje, 5 May 2025 (MIA) – A new investment, opening more than 200 jobs, which was announced yesterday by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, will open at the Skopje free industrial zone. The investment, worth millions, which involves the production of electronic devices for export, will start in 10-12 days.
Two more investments are expected in the Shtip free zone as well as expansion of one of the existing investments, which enables some hundreds of millions of euros to be invested and over 1,000 jobs to be opened, Mickoski said Monday speaking to reporters during his visit to Shtip.
“I believe that very soon there will be good news for the residents of Shtip and its region. I’d rather not reveal the investments in Shtip, two out of the three investments are not part of the automotive industry, whereas the third one that will expand its capacities is in the automotive industry,” Mickoski stated.
The prime minister said he expected the foundations of an energy investments of half a billion dollars, which was announced last year, to be laid either in late June or early July.
