Skopje, 26 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, will participate Saturday in the first meeting of the Balkan Peace Platform to be held in Istanbul at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Mucunski will deliver a speech at the meeting, focusing on regional cooperation in areas such as economic development, transport connectivity, energy, environmental protection, and cultural cooperation.

The event is expected to be attended by foreign ministers from the Western Balkan region.

The new initiative, launched by Minister Fidan, aims to contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity through a joint approach in finding regional solutions to regional challenges, reads the press release.
