Skopje, 19 February 2026 (MIA) - Ahead of the Macedonian – Slovak Business Forum taking place in Skopje on Thursday, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski said the automotive industry and energy are just some of the sectors in which the two countries can boost economic cooperation, adding that there is significant potential for enhancing business partnership. 

According to Mucunski, the forum is an excellent opportunity for direct meetings between businesspeople from both sides.

"We are focused not only on attracting investments, but also increasing export potential," the Minister pointed out.

Minister Mucunski and Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic Ladislav Kamenický are set to open the forum, which brings together over 20 Slovak and 40 domestic companies from different sectors.
