Mucunski, Murtezani reaffirm commitment to reforms and EU integration at meeting with Kallas
- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, in Brussels on Tuesday.
Skopje, 2 December 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, in Brussels on Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the meeting was held as part of a working visit to Brussels, in the context of the country's continued commitment to the European integration process and the common pledge for promotion of partnership with the Union, specifically in the fields of security and defence.

"Mucunski and Murtezani reaffirmed commitment to reforms, the EU integration process, and deeper cooperation with the Union in security and defence. The two underlined full alignment with the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy, continued support for Ukraine, and the importance of regional connectivity and strategic projects, including Corridor VIII," the Ministry's press release reads.
The ministers conveyed a clear message on the need for a fair, predictable and tangible European perspective for the country and the entire region, pointing out that such dynamics will contribute to strengthening the credibility of the enlargement process, the democratic resilience and the security of the region and Europe, adds the press release.
