Skopje, 30 May 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski in a social media post Friday wrote he met with Jamieson Greer, trade representative in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump. 

“Our meeting focused on promoting bilateral trade and creating new opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries. It is important to highlight that we have made concrete progress in the negotiations on tariff reductions, as well as in defining the next steps toward signing a Free Trade Agreement,” Mucunski wrote in a post on his official Facebook page.

At the meeting, according to the Minister, they discussed the Government’s economic policies aimed at improving the business climate, encouraging foreign direct investments and securing a stable and predictable regulatory framework for U.S. companies interested in investing in the country.
