Skopje, 22 April 2026 (MIA) - In the framework of the Government visit to Vienna, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met with Austrian Minister for Europe, Integration and Family, Claudia Bauer on Wednesday.

Mucunski and Bauer discussed current developments and priorities related to North Macedonia's European agenda, with FM Mucunski informing on the progress in implementation of the Growth Plan and the Reform Agenda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

FM Mucunski reaffirmed the Government's strong commitment to the Euro-integration process and implementation of reforms, while thanking Austria for its continued and strong support.

Interlocutors agreed that EU enlargement is a geopolitical necessity for the stability and security of Europe, reads the press release.
