MNT continues 80th anniversary celebrations by hosting performances by regional artists

Skopje, 6 February 2026 (MIA) — A number of regional artists and theaters will perform at the Macedonian National Theatre in the next two months, continuing to celebrate the institution's 80th anniversary, the MNT said in a press release. 


On March 30, multiple award-winning, Los Angeles-based Serbian actor Nikola Djurichko will perform his stand-up show "Showbiz." 


On April 1, the Slovenian National Theater will perform the play "Amadeus" directed by Macedonian director Aleksandar Popovski, who has been the artistic director of the Maribor Drama since the 2018-19 season.


On April 3, the Slovenian National Theater will perform the monodrama "Immaculata," a stage performance in tribute to Slovenian director Tomaž Pandur.


On April 4, the Montenegrin National Theater will perform an original project by Boris Liješević, the multiple award-winning play "The Other Side." mr/
