Skopje, 22 November 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told Saturday a panel within the Freedom Forum organized by the VMRO-DPMNE Youth Union and the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU) that young people are the core of political parties and their future.
"Young people and youth organizations are the core of our party policies. If youth is not in the party core, it is not a question of if, but when that political party disappears. We're proud to have such, I would say, an attacking youth. We will support this youth because we count on it as our successor. Giving young people a chance means giving future a chance. Otherwise, you will lose your way and probably disappear from the political stage," said Mickoski.

He urged forum participants to create a youth who will one day become leaders.
"When you start something, do not expect miracles, because they are not possible. If you believe in miracles, you will not be capable of live in the reality. What you see on Instagram and TikTok is not the reality but someone's attempt to put pressure on you and create a false reality. If someone promises miracles, then he or she is lying. Don't believe in miracles," said Mickoski.
The VMRO-DPMNE leader also told the youth to keep their dignity.
"Don't be hypocrites. You will be surrounded by ones, but dignity is the best trait you could ever have. This is important, not only for your future but your families as well," noted Mickoski.

He also referred to the family as the most important element in one's life.
"Children, many children, this will shape your life. Because without many children, your life will be empty and selfish. Share, because if you share, you can learn what family is all about, not only for you, but your nation as well," said Mickoski.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of hard work and commitment.
"If a nation doesn't work hard, especially a small one such as the Macedonian, if it does not have a clear roadmap for the next 50 or 100 years, then such a nation will disappear. If we underestimate the future challenges, then we are not visionaries but daily politicians and populists. Therefore, fight and think about the aspects that shape the society and the future of your nation," concluded Mickoski.
