Skopje, 15 June 2026 (MIA) - The Government is supporting domestic entrepreneurs, the national industry and the economy. Last week, nearly EUR 120 million from the Hungarian loan were transferred to companies, with EUR 230 million allocated in total thus far, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Monday.
PM Mickoski told reporters he expects investments of domestic companies to be twice as higher as the funds invested.
"The Government is supporting these entrepreneurial endeavors and foreign direct investments, but also the domestic entrepreneurs, the domestic industry, and the domestic economy. As you know, the subsidized interest of the loan is 1.95 percent, including a three-year grace period and 12-year repayment timeline. Therefore, we expect investments in domestic companies to be twice as higher as the funds invested," said Mickoski.
