Mickoski presents new VMRO-DPMNE executive committee, Dragan Kovachki to be party’s new secretary general

Skopje, 6 February 2026 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski presented on Friday evening the new members of the party’s executive committee following a session of the ruling party’s central committee. Mickoski also said MP Dragan Kovachki has been selected as VMRO-DPMNE's new secretary general.

In a media statement after the session, party leader and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said VMRO-DPMNE's central committee had decided to elect a new executive committee which, he said, “represents a blend of experience with some of the people who were already part of the previous compositions of the executive committee, and new members.”

“These decisions are a clear indication that the party is changing and adapting to new challenges. Our goal is to build a strong, efficient, and united structure that will provide concrete and responsible solutions to the needs of the citizens,” Mickoski stressed.

Mickoski said the members of the party’s new executive committee are Aleksandar Nikoloski, Vlado Misajlovski, Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska, Timcho Mucunski, Nikola Micevski, Luke Galevski, Antonio Miloshoski, Dafina Stojanovska, Rashela Mizrahi, Vlatko Gjorgjiev, Kiril Pecakov, Marija Andonovska, Eli Panova, Igor Janushev, Marija Miteva, Blagoja Tashaminov, Orce Gjorgjievski, Oner Jakupovski, Dragana Bojkovska, Sinisha Stojanovski, Stefan Andonovski, Filip Popovski, and Boban Nikoloski.

Mickoski said the new heads of the party’s youth, women’s, and veteran’s wings would also be a part of the committee.

The VMRO-DPMNE leader added that Ivica Tomovski, has been elected as the party’s organizational secretary, while Vladimir Nelovski will serve as Mickoski’s chief of staff.

Mickoski stressed the party would continue working on strengthening internal organization, transparency, and an inclusive membership process. He announced that in the upcoming period, elections will be held for leaders of the party’s municipal committees, as well as for new leaderships of the party’s youth, women’s, and veteran’s wings.
