Skopje, 12 August 2025 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Tuesday that the second call issued by the Ministry of Local Self-Government provides more than Mden 500 million for investments in sports infrastructure in municipalities.
Mickoski underscored that the total investment value of the two calls surpasses Mden 720 million and announced that the Government will continue investing in this sector.

“Overall, around 35 to 36 facilities were included in the first and second calls, with a total investment value exceeding Mden 720 million. We will continue in that direction. Projects that were started and then forgotten, such as swimming pools, are being completed. Everything that was started will be finished, but we will also complete those projects where we find intervention is needed, financed through the Government,” Mickoski said in response to journalists’ questions after opening fully refurbished ward at the Urology Clinic together with Health Minister Azir Aliu, Health Insurance Fund head Sasho Klekovski, and University Clinic for Urology head Dr. Bashkim Shabani.
