Skopje, 12 September 2026 (MIA) - The citizens are paying the price for the mismanagement of the previous governments led by Zoran Zaev and Dimitar Kovachevski, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Saturday.

"God forbid Macedonia has such executives again. I believe that majority of the citizens think the same. Today we are paying the price for the way in which they managed, while they enjoy themselves on jachts at exotic destinations. Citizens are paying the price of those times and how they handled the crisis," PM Mickoski told reporters.

Instead of facing responsibility, he added, they continue to defend the promose those policies.

"It is unfortunate that SDSM is not apologizing for all those wrong and criminal policies of the governments led by Zaev and Kovachevski. On the contrary, they still promote them," said Mickoski.
