Mickoski and Starmer discuss enhancement of bilateral cooperation and UK support

London, 22 October 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Wednesday in London with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, discussing the enhancement of bilateral cooperation and UK's support for regional countries.

"In the framework of the visit for the Western Balkans Summit, I met with British PM Starmer, discussing the enhancement of bilateral cooperation and UK's support for regional countries. The high-level meetings within the Berlin Process are ongoing throughout the day. We are fully committed to the realization of the government-to-government agreement," PM Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post.

Earlier in the day, PM Mickoski met with King Charles III.
"We discussed the friendship between Macedonia and the United Kingdom, stability, development, and the protection of nature, areas to which the King has devoted great attention for many years. This meeting is both a recognition and a gesture of respect, as well as an encouragement to continue on the path of shared values, trust and partnership," Mickoski said on Facebook.

The Government delegation headed by PM Mickoski also includes Deputy PM and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska and Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani.
