Memorandum of Understanding to be signed with Kazancı Holding for €1 billion investment

Skopje, 22 July 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday with the Chairman of the Turkish company Kazancı Holding, Şaban Cemal.
As reported by the government’s press service, the meeting will be followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the Government.
Mickoski and Cemal are to hold a press conference following the agreement signing ceremony.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is expected to pave the way for the implementation of the Kazancı Group investment, worth €1 billion, aimed at constructing a secondary gas pipeline network, a district heating system, and cogeneration plants with an installed capacity of 500 MW, producing 4.1 TWh of electricity and 720 GWh of thermal energy annually.
