Local elections to be monitored by 1.451 observers – 807 domestic, 644 foreign
Skopje, 18 October 2025 (MIA) - Sunday’s local elections will be monitored by 1.451 observers, including 807 domestic observers and 644 foreign observers, as well as 12 foreign journalists.
Skopje-based NGO “Wake Up” has the highest number of domestic observers – 549.
According to data from the official website of the State Election Commission, the most international observers accredited for the 2025 local elections are from ODIHR – Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights – 524, the U.S. Embassy in Skopje – 30, the European Parliament – 12, and the British Embassy in Skopje – 11.
