Lafchiski visits Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Skopje, 17 June 2025 (MIA) -- The country's chief of defense, Maj. Gen. Sashko Lafchiski, began his working visit to the United Kingdom at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he met with the academy's commander, Brig. Gen. Nick Wight-Boycott.

 

According to a press release from the Army's General Staff, the aim of the meeting was to confirm the country's ongoing cooperation with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the education of army officers.

 

Talks focused on military education topics, challenges and plans regarding the both countries' armed forces.

 

Lafchiski was briefed on the UK's military education system as well as the academy's curriculum. He was also given a tour of the premises, the release said.

 

Over the next two days, the major general will take part in the two-day Land Warfare Conference in London. mr/
