Krushevo, 25 July 2026 (MIA) - The water use ban in the town of Krushevo is still in effect after the Public Health Center-Prilep assessed it is contaminated by bacteria.

"The analysis of the sample we took on Wednesday, when the ban went into effect, has shown the water is fit for use, but we need to wait for the results of two other samples early next week. The ban is still in effect," said Petar Ohanesijan from the Public Health Center.

The Krushevo residents are filling up containers from nearby springs and use bottled water but hope that the ban will be lifted soon.

The center is also monitoring the epidemiological situation in the town, with no reported health issues related to the water use.
